Description
The Interest Group “Neuroinflammation / Inflammatory diseases of the Nervous System / Multiple Sclerosis is a platform for discussion and research cooperation devoted to research on basic mechanisms of neuroinflammation and on the pathogenesis of inflammatory brain diseases. It contains research groups focusing on basic clinical neuroimmunology and on the development of paraclinical tools for diagnosis, including neurogenetics, immunological marker development and neuroimaging. It is involved in many international collaborative projects, such as the EU funded Projects NEUROKINE (http://www.unimedizin-mainz.de/neurokine/) and EDEN (http://www.erare.eu/financed-projects/eden )
