Description
The interest group “Neurobiology of Emotion and Cognition“ (NEC) aims at achieving two goals:
(i) to promote emotion and cognition research in health and disease. Researchers within this interest group provide an unique expertise in a variety of research methods ranging from neuroimaging, neurophysiology, genetics, molecular and cell biology to behavioural neurobiology and
(ii) to increase the awareness of the public towards clinical and preclinical neurobiological research.
The mission of the focus group NEC is to foster translational research and progress in the understanding of physiological and pathological processes of emotion and cognition brain circuitries in humans.
