Description
The Interest Group “Neuropsychopharmacology“ is a platform for research cooperation as well as discussion devoted to research on clinical applicability as well basic mechanisms of neuropsychopharmacology and on the pathogenesis of brain diseases. It contains research groups focusing on clinical neuropsychopharmacology as well as basic research in this area and on the development of tools for diagnosis, including biological markers and neuroimaging. Major objective of this interest group is in translational interactions between clinical and basic researchers aiming tangible results in education as well as in research projects. The interest group is involved in many international collaborative projects, such as the group of studies of treatment resistant depression (GSRD) as well as FWF and ÖNB funded projects.
